Innovate! is proud to announce our achievement of the Salesforce Silver Consulting Partnership level.  Since 2008, Innovate! has been developing and implementing Salesforce solutions for federal and private customers. Innovate! performs consultation services and supports Salesforce license implementation, governance, integration, training, and application development using the Force.com platform in both Classic and Lightening instances.

Salesforce evaluates companies based on factors that include the specialization of resources, Salesforce certifications, customer feedback on implementations performed, and much more. The Silver designation reflects the strength of the Innovate! and Salesforce partnership. It acknowledges Innovate!’s consistent track record of excellent delivery and customer service. “This designation gives our customers a high degree of confidence that they have a team of experts building their systems. Innovate! has played key roles in the success of many critical and high-profile Salesforce initiatives such as the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Safer Choice Program and Cross-Media Electronic Reporting Rule (CROMERR). During implementations, Innovate! wrote the Salesforce FedRAMP security plan that led to an EPA Authority to Operate (ATO) within the Office of Chemical Safety and Pollution Prevention (OCSPP). This ATO was extended via Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to other EPA offices.

For the second time in as many months, Europe was gripped by an extreme heat wave, breaking temperature records in 12 countries. Record high temperatures were set on Thursday, July 25, in the Netherlands at 40.4 °C (104.7 °F), and Belgium at 41.8 °C (107.2 °F). Germany reached 42.6 °C (108.7 °F), as did Paris, France, which broke a record that had stood for over 70 years by more than 2 degrees Celsius. Recognition for Innovate Client: EPA Region 9 Common Operating Picture/California Wildfires Team

Innovate is proud to announce that our clients within EPA Region 9 are recipients of this year’s Federal Employee of the Year Awards, which were recently presented to outstanding Bay Area public servants by the Federal Executive Board. We have supported EPA Region 9 for over eight years across a range of initiatives including geospatial and IT support services.

EPA Region 9 played a critical role in responding to the 2017 and 2018 wildfires in California.  Innovate supported a multidisciplinary team in the development of an innovative, web-based tool to support emergency planning, preparedness and response activities.  The Common Operating Picture data platform enhanced situational awareness, increased access to data and simplified rapid decision-making.  The team’s efforts significantly improved the efficiency and effectiveness of EPA’s response to the Northern California wildfires.

We appreciate our partnership with our federal clients. EPA Region 9’s tireless and groundbreaking efforts exemplify the spirit that Region 9 staff and managers bring to their work every day.

R9 Common Operating Picture Fire Application

Innovate! Awarded NITAAC CIO-SP3 8(a) Small Business Group Contract Award

NITAAC & CIO-SP3 LogoInnovate! was awarded the CIO-SP3 contract for Section 8(a) Small Business Group by the National Institutes of Health Information Technology Acquisition and Assessment Center (NITAAC.) CIO-SP3 is a Government-Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC), offering emerging technology, solutions and services that support the full range of IT services and health IT needs across the federal government agencies. It also gives agencies a mechanism to help meet socio-economic contracting goals, while providing small businesses, like Innovate, with an opportunity to participate in government requirements.

Innovate! competed with many other companies and was selected based on meeting the most rigorous performance standards across a wide range of IT services spanning across ten task areas of specialty. The contract has a performance period from December 24, 2018 and extend through June 26, 2022 with a ceiling of $20 billion.

Federal IT challenges are solved everyday with CIO-SP3 Small Business contracts. Phill Thomas, Innovate!’s Chief Operating Officer states, “We are pleased to be selected as one of the leading small business innovators for the CIO-SP3 contract award. We look forward to offering our extensive IT expertise to the NITAAC agencies we have worked with in the past, as well as other federal, civilian or DoD agencies who seek Best in Class contracts to help with IT challenges that result in increased efficiencies.” Thomas continues, “Having worked with federal government agencies since Innovate! was established 17-years ago, Innovate!’s aim is to continue to help agencies fulfill federal government compelling IT priorities which include data center consolidation, cloud computing, cybersecurity, mobile strategy solutions and others.” Innovate!’s IT-based solutions offer new approaches to today’s more complex IT challenges expanding IT infrastructure, while providing software development to organizations in healthcare.

The Release Ready Specialty designation is the newest provided by Esri to Innovate following attainment of ArcGIS Online, Local Government and Small Business that Innovate currently has. Innovate is an Esri Silver partner and was awarded the 2018 Innovation Partner of the Year award for work done with the US EPA. Most recently Innovate and team member Esri were awarded the IRWIN contract supporting Wildland Fire support to the DOI.
