Esri Honors Innovate with the “Collaboration Partner” Federal Small Business Specialty Award

Washington D.C. — Esri, the global leader in location intelligence, honored Innovate for our extraordinary application of GIS software during the annual Esri Federal GIS Conference with the “Collaboration Partner” Federal Small Business Specialty Award. This award acknowledges companies that use Esri technology to help the U.S. government run more efficiently and transparently through innovation. Innovate was recognized for our consistent engagement with the Esri service teams, leveraging Esri technology to support customers, and participating in Esri events.

One such project example is the Department of Interior’s (DOI) Integrated Reporting of Wildland Fire Information (IRWIN) application where Innovate is the prime contractor working in partnership with Esri. The fire community depends on the IRWIN application to maintain data exchange operations year-round, 24x7x365. Innovate is providing operations and maintenance (O&M) services and supporting IRWIN’s further development, modernization, and enhancement leveraging Esri technology. Esri provides slices of technical expertise to optimize this critical, interagency application.
